ROYAL WEDDING HATS

okay, agak basi sih ya ngomongin soal Royal Wedding... tapi, setelah browsing sana-sini, gw menemukan hal yang ngga kalah menarik dari si pengantinnya sendiri, yaitu TOPI.

Dari yang gw tau, topi (jangan ngebayangin topi baseball apalagi topi tani, tapi lebih ke topi lebar yang kadang2 ada pot bunga dan burung nasar nangkring) memang sangat berarti penting bagi wanita eropa abad pertengahan sampe sekarang ini. Topi itu udah sama pentingnya kaya kita pake baju. And I DO LOVE them.

Dan kemudian...saat acara tukar cincin dan sumpah sehidup sematinya si Putra Mahkota dan Si Wanita-Dari-Kalangan-Biasa nya bisa jadi ajang saling pamer topi. Dan banyakan nih ya... topi-topi si A-LISTED ini hasil karya om Philip Treacy.

Dari beberapa yang memang terlihat sangat A WOW, ada juga yang terlihat A WHAT THE.

13 Ridiculous Royal Wedding Hats

Here i give you some of them, and let me give my own opinion since some opinions from TIME are just too-much, too mengada-ngada lah, you name it.

1. Queen Elizabeth's yummy-hat

- i bet you, her hat reminds you about a big birthday cake with mustard and honey sauce.

2. Bless Camilla's bed-look-a-like hat

- first, i just realized that she has been this old. You may rest in peace, Lady D. About her hat... uhm, just worry if that hat is TOO HEAVY for her. it's like she's carrying her kitten's bed. me personally, think that her hat is TOO BIG. But, overall, you look beautiful. Yasudahlah.

i still don't know why, why TIME puts this beautiful hat into one of Ridiculous hat. I love it's colour, i love the flowers, and i think it's comfy to wear. I love it. Just it.

Since black is my-another-pink, i do love this one. :) simple yet beautiful. sexy and mysterious at the same time. luuurve it.

did someone lose her/his TV Cable-signal-catcher ? okaaay, it's black, and i love the flower. But... if you wear this one, you have to stand in the right side of another people, since you've blocked your right side.
uhm, she's remind me about Beauxbatons's student. This hat will suits them best. And, for the first time i see her, i thought she was Scarlett Johanson.

Victoria Beckham. I love black. But, it's a Royal wedding not a funeral.

I love the purple one... i love the blue one too. yeah, got no word why TIME put it as ridiculous one.

There are dragonflies on it. So Why ? uhm, from different point of view, this hat must be beautiful.

she's not Lady Gaga. She's Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew. correct me if i am wrong.
yeah, this hat quite ridiculous. yeah you have your word. name it. and I DO NOT LOVE her make up and her hair do. Come on, she has a lot of money, go hire a profesional one. *ups.

maybe, next time... i will share some of my favorite hats from Philip Treacy, yeah some maybe ridicolous but some must be beautiful too.

THE PERKS OF BEING WALLFLOWER

if someone asks me, "Please describe your self with one word."
I would answer, "WALLFLOWER."

So, have you ever heard about Wallflower ?

Gw lupa kapan tepatnya gw tau untuk pertama kalinya istilah Wallflower. Tapi, pertama kali denger... I just know, it fits me well. :)
So here i give you several means of Wallflower from Urban Dictionary :

• a type of loner. seemingly shy folks who no one really knows. often some of the most interesting people if one actually talks to them. cute.

	someone, usually in high school, who sees everything, knows everything, but does not say a word. they are not loners. they are introvertive, meaning they are shy and have a social disease. they cannot handle having someone pay attention to them even though they crave it as much as everyone else. wallflowers are just phased in, and faded into the backround.

• Usually refer to people who are shy and fade in the background , that none really knows or pays any attention to

• a person who see's the world for what it really is, all the beauty and the ugly. someone who knows life is only for the one who is not afraid to die and that joy is only for him who does not fear to be alone. these are the most amazing people you will ever meet and you will never, not even if you try, forgett them.

• Someone who isn't necessarily shy, but never really tells you a lot about themselves. They observe almost everything and listen to everything you have to say without criticizing or judging. These people are often the most sincere, kind, and wonderfully interesting people, yet fail to be attractive to the opposite sex for some reason

Okay, the last one and the red-coloured one, is the definition that me personally think it suits me best.

And the good news is, somenone named Stephen Cbhosky already wrote about this wallflower. The book entitled "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."
Dyingly i do hope i can read this book... and another good news is... THIS GORGEOUS WALLFLOWER akan difilmkan in the year of 2012 !! Please guess, who are the star that already listed at IMdB !! they are Emma Watson and Logan Lerman , a gorgeous Percy Jackson ;;)

i feel so damn mad with my self. :(

rasanya pengin banget ngubur diri hidup-hidup daripada hidup nginget-nginget ini mulu. sedih ya Allah :(

kebodohan yang terjadi hari ini adalah...beli tiket KA double. okay, another stupidity of mine.
Jadi gini, tadinya gw udah beli tiket pulang buat tanggal 16 (besok doong harusnya yekan)... tapi, karena mental Indonesia yang suka ngaret (bahkan sampai ke institusi-institusi penting) mengacaukan segalanya. TERMASUK JADWAL PULANG GW MAMEEEEN.
Inilah kerjaan salah satu event paling bergengsi di Asia Tenggara yang dirasa kurang memperhatikan kepentingan volunteernya--yang padahal punya andil besar dalam kesuksesan acara berlevel multilateral tersebut-- jadi dengan semena-mena mengundur pengumuman yang SEAHRUSNYA sudah bisa diakses tanggal SATU AGUSTUS, sampai akhirnya baru bisa diakses sekitar tanggal sembilan agustus.
well, ngaret itu menyebalkan.
Disaat tanggal sembilan itu, karena gw pikir ngga ada pemberitahuan lebih lanjut...ya pesen tiket pulang kan. DAN TERENYATA HARUS IKUT SELEKSI TAHAP DUA DI TANGGAL 20 atau 21 agustus, YANG MANA MASIH TENTATIVE.
teruuuus yaaaa tiket gue yang seharga 122.500 rupiah itu gimanaaa ? ngerti deh itu bukan nominal yang besaaar, tapi itu besar buat kantong anak kuliahan yang merantau owkaaay dan kalo dibandingkan volunteer yang notabene adalah kerjaan sukarela yang kemungkinan dapat gajinya.... *errr... jumlah tersebut sangat berharga... :""""(
yaak, dengan nangis-nangisan dikit dan berbekal izin dari orangtua di kampung tercinta...akhirnya jadwal pulang diundur. SUMPAH SEDIH BANGET YA TUHAN...dari libur tiga bulan, cuma sebulan kurang di rumah sendiri :"( sedihnya ngga ada obat.

TAPI MASALAHNYA tiket yang udah dibeli ini bisakah ditukar ?

Jawabannya baru gw temukan hari ini.

PAHIT.

NGGA BISA.

harus bayar 180.000 lagi mamamamamamama :""( disaat merasa sedikit 'berlebih' bisa hura-hura makan sushi sebelum mudik...ternyata tiket ngga bisa dituker dan terpaksa beli tiket lagi. :""( sedih banget. asli nangis waktu perjalanan pulang abis beli tiket.

Mimpi buruk belum selesai.

Disaat terguncang, nyoba sms nyokap...intinya minta maaf, menggunakan uang beliau untuk membeli tiket lagi...dan ngga lama bokap telepon... jawab telponnya dilemes-lemesin biar ngga kena marah...tapi tetep aja....kena marah... dan akhirnya, karena keteledoran ini itu disalahin ini itu.

DOUBE DIE.

yatuhan...akhirnya dengan pengeluaran tidak terduga yang berlebih ini, semoga di EVENT OLAHRAGA SEASTENG tersebut sebaiknya punya kabar bagus... :")
demi ya... udah dimarahin sana-sini, udah keluar uang banyak, udah nunda-nunda waktu pulang padahal udah nganggur di Jakarta, udah harus berhemat dari asupan makanan tersier....semua dilakukan demi audisi tahap 2.

Tuhan, asli sedih banget :"(

the little things she (I) need

No it's not refers to any kind of label. It just so 'us' right ? Billion little things that we need, sometimes boy just dont understand why.
okay one of my 'little things' is shoes... i envy to the max with Sarah Jessica Parker that has a chance to wear all of those fabulous shoes in SITC. i do hope, someday when i already as old as her, i will have the chance too. Amin.
